The data source was the texts which were taken from “Strategic Human Resource Management” book by Anthony Perrewe Kacmar.Īccording to the word formation process, the conclusion of this report showed that there are many unknown words, phrases, or terms in the texts of human resource which could be understood through word formation process, so that the unknown terms can be understood and make the result translation naturally. This report classed and analyzed data source. The method used in this report is qualitative research exposed by descriptive. The words formation processes were analyzed in this research based on the theories of word formation explained by Francis Katamba in his book, Morphology. The purpose of this report is giving the explanation about words or phrases which are included in Human Resource Department terms, and also giving the explanation about its meaning and function in the sentence or text. This report entitled “ Understanding the Words through Word Formation Process in the Texts of Human Resource Challenge ”, showed word formation process in the terms which related to the texts of human resource challenges.
